Pour le Tet, le nouvel an vietnamien (et chinois), on a eu droit a quelques jours de vacances, l'occasion d'aller faire un petit tour en Thailande...
J'ai commence par quelques jours a Bangkok, ville super cosmopolite, c'est con, mais ca fait du bien de retrouver une "vraie" grande ville après Hanoi!
J'ai passe deux jours a Kao San road, le paradis du backpaker, qui ressemble surtout a une grande beuverie des que 9 heures du soir est passe! C'est aussi le paradis de la contrefaçon, on peut acheter un permis, un examen, une carte de presse, bref tout s'achète!
J'en ai quand même profite pour faire quelques visites de temples, et musees. Le roi est un personnage omnipresent en Thailande, respecte comme un demi dieu par les thais, on peu voir sa photo de partout, dans le metro, sur les immeubles, dans la rue...
Bangkok, c'est aussi l'occasion de bien manger, car c'est une ville tres cosmopolite et on trouve tous les styles de cuisine, du boui-boui thai dans la rue, au resto japonnais, en passant par les restos indiens, les kebabs, les fast-food, le bar a narguilé, et en plus c'est pas cher!
Bangkok, c'est aussi bien sur les gogo-bars... attention quand meme aux mauvaises surprises!
J'ai ensuite retrouve Haruko et on est partis pour Koh Tao, ou vit un certain Schuba... C'est une petite ile, ou il y avait jadis des tortues (ça serait plutôt touristes maintenant...), c'est également un super spot pour plonger... ce qu'on a fait avec Schuba en guise d'instructeur!
Enfin, on a surtout commence par un jour de l'an super arrose, débuté a 11 heures du mat' chez schuba, et fini avec plein de pétards...
Le lendemain, on a commence la plongée, après une matinée studieuse (il y plein de trucs a apprendre pour plonger), on a fait quelques exercices en piscine avant de commencer les choses serieuses, en pleine mer, au milieu des coraux, des poissons, des tortues... bref c'est de la bombe!
C'était vraiment une super expérience, et ca laisse un sacre gout de reviens-y... je pense que les prochaines vacances seront quelque part au bord de la mer...
