Crocodile Attack...

Les innondations et les typhons ont fait beaucoup de dégâts dans le centre du Vietnam, et de nombreuses victimes... Parmi les infos les plus insolites, voici ce qu'on pouvait lire hier, dans la presse...

" Soldiers, militiamen and forest rangers hunted for hundreds of crocodiles Monday after lethal flooding unleashed the animals from a central Vietnam farm, officials said.
The crocodiles escaped from a state-owned farm and tourist attraction, which had some 5,000 of the reptiles, when floodwaters knocked down part of the fence enclosing the area Saturday, said Khanh Hoa province's Governor Vo Lam Phi.
Soldiers using AK-47 assault rifles shot and killed 11 crocodiles as they crawled up a riverbank toward nearby villages, said Nguyen Nhu Long, an officer with the Khanh Hoa military command. «Each of them weighed from 200 kilograms to 250 kilograms (440 to 550 pounds), and it took seven or eight people to carry their dead bodies away,» Long said.
Hundreds of crocodiles may have escaped, Long said, adding that it could take a week to 10 days to track them down. Crocodiles are farmed in Vietnam and other Asian countries for their skin and meat. The crocodiles had escaped into a stream that passes the farm and then joins a river flowing through several villages.
«We have warned the villagers to be careful and asked them to call the authorities if they spot any crocodiles,» Phi said. Heavy rains triggered the weekend flooding that killed nine people in central Vietnam, disaster officials said.
Five rounds of flooding have hit the country's central region in the past month. Floods and typhoons have killed 202 people across central and northern Vietnam since early October. Water levels in area rivers remain extremely high, and more rains were expected Monday, the national weather forecast center said. "

Comme il est dit dans l'article, les crocodiles sont élevés au Vietnam pour leur peau et pour leur viande...m'est avis qu'il y en a certains qui vont se faire de sacrés festins!
